Gwyneth Paltrow’s version of Fleetwood Mac’s classic 1975 ballad “Landslide,” from her second guest spot on Glee last night.
Beautiful version of one of my favorite songs. Billy Corgan’s is still my favorite though.
Yes, I am a “Gleek” and no I don’t like all the songs ‘Glee’ chooses to cover, although I like their version better than most modern pop songs. But last night to my surprise, Glee covered a track that has been covered a few times over, Stevie Nick’s classic, “Landslide”. It was beautifully done. Gwyneth Paltrow and two of the female cast members (who were questioning their relationship in last night’s episode) brought most viewers to tears with this beautiful ballad. Me included. “Landslide” has been covered by other artist such as The Smashing Pumpkins and The Dixie Chicks, but who does it best. Follow the link to listen to other versions and vote for your favorite version. This is not the first track covered by Gwyneth Paltrow, she has made other musical performances on ‘Glee’ and last year’s ‘Country Strong’. Rumor has it she’s going to releasing her own album soon, can’t wait to hear more.
